They will also deal with distribution of the product such as where the product would be sold and how much for. This would depend on the environment and the target audience.
Within the film industy sales executives may want to release a 'teaser trailer' to create intrest within the audience. Not long after this release; posters and an official trailer would be presented to the audience.
