Members of the technial team can be anything from camera person to editor. On a film set you will find a lot of people working on the technical area of the film.
The camera operator will take directions from the director who will explain what type is shot is need and how the camera should be possitioned. The camera man will have assistants that will help carry equipment around. They will take equipment down at the end of the day and also set them up when neded. You will sometimes find that camera assistants will use the clapperboard to help the editor understand when the shot begins. The steadicam operator is similar to a camera operator accept from that they are specialised in movement.
Production sound mixer, Boom Operator and sound technicians are all examples of technical jobs that work with sound.
